Fine quality, previous restorations, partially reframed, one with three repaired breaks to left arm support, repaired breaks right arm support, repaired breaks to apron at junctions of legs and now with plugged repairs, age crack to left seat rail, previously with sunk casters, old marks and scratches, later corner blocks, losses to carved elements; second chair with repaired breaks to left arm support, chip to foliate carving below cabochon or right arm, chip to right side of apron, back left foot spliced, previously with sunk casters old marks and scratches, scuffs to legs and feet.
