Continental, probably 18th century or earlier, each gate or door with scroll and fleur de lis motifs centering panels with leaf motifs, brown over earlier red paint, leaf elements with traces of gilding, one gate with wrought iron floor lock, other with catch, heavy construction, each 36 x 27-3/4 in. - Provenance: Estate of Paul W. Doll, Jr., Lake Toxaway, North Carolina
Condition Report: good structural condition, surface wear and losses to paint, surface dirt and minor corrosion, some small unused holes presumably from previous mounting
