Mid-19th century, the needlework 17th century and later
Each rectangular back and seat covered in associated floral gros and petit needlework within borders of tarnished metal thread, the stiles with berried finials, the apron with cabochon-carved panel, the square legs joined by stretchers. Height 46 inches (117 cm), width 23 inches (58.5 cm), depth 15 inches (38.2 cm).

Frames in fair condition with sunfading, one lighted than the other, old wood worm damage, losses to backs of armrests a juncture of stiles, marks and scratches, both with spliced panels below finials, one with spliced back right leg, other chair with all spliced legs, scuffs to legs.
