Pair of Jadeite Carved Table Screens, Republic
A pair of Chinese jadeite carved table screens dating from the Republic period. The screens both feature the same scenes; one side depicts a scholar and attendant beneath a flowering tree, and the other side features a fisherman in a boat. Both screens come with wooden stands.
Dimensions: jade- 7 3/4 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide; 19.7 cm tall X 11.4 cm wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: They are in overall good condition with natural seams and inclusions.
Provenance: From a private collection in Southern California.
