Pair of Large Capodimonte White Glazed Porcelain Figures
An impressive pair of Capodimonte white glazed porcelain figures depicting an elegant lady and a gentleman dressed in 18th-century attire. Finely modeled with expressive facial features, elaborate period costumes, delicate applied lace decoration, and flowing drapery. The gentleman is shown holding a horn beside a tree stump, while the lady gracefully holds a folded fan with one arm raised.
Each figure is executed in glossy white glazed porcelain and bears a blue underglaze crown mark to the underside. Richly detailed with finely sculpted features and ornamental decoration, these large figures make an exceptional display for collectors of fine European porcelain.
