Pair of Marble-Backed Chairs, 19th Century

A pair of Chinese rosewood chairs with round, marble, 'dream-stone' insets dating from the 19th century. The back features carved grape vines and the skirt and legs feature bamboo motifs.

Dimensions: 44 1/2 inches tall X 23 1/4 inches wide X 17 inches deep; 113 cm tall X 59.1 cm wide X 43.2 cm deep. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Minor cracking due to humidity.
