Pair of Medici vases - single block - H 80 cm - Verona red marble - about 1900

Impressive pair of Medicean vases in Verona red marble, made from a single block of material. From a Venetian villa in the province of Venice. Originally they were placed on top of a pair of pillars. Truly exceptional in all their parts, their quality is indisputable. The marble is beautiful, with an amazing brightness, a red Verona marble with an outstanding grain. The vases are not too large, as shown in photos; their height is 80 cm each (their size is almost the same) . Impressive “baccellatura” (ribbing) on the bottom of the vases. Suitable as decoration items, both indoors and outdoors or as table bases (a glass plate can be put upon them) . They will certainly not go unnoticed, exclusive and rare lot. Superb manufacturing.
