the deep drip pan of one candlestick has a slight lean to it; the lean appears to be the result of a pushed in side of the drip pan (when viewed from above the drip pan is "out of round"); one candlestick has a slight rocking motion to it when gently pushed on a flat table surface; the other candlestick has a greater rocking motion to it when gently pushed on a flat table surface; each claw foot is affixed by three screws and square nuts; one nut is missing on one candlestick (on the inner side of the bell-form base) but the foot is very securely affixed regardless; the shorter example is 24 inches tall
