Pair of Sheraton Style Carved Mahogany Demilune Console Tables, 20th c., the curved tops over wide skirts, on square tapered legs, Each- H.- 32 1/4 in., W.- 49 in., D.- 24 1/4 in. Provenance: Private Collection of A Local Antiquarian, Garden District, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Condition Report: Condition consistent with age and use. Both lack finish to the top. One has a dark “stain” in the back center of the top, showing what the finish originally was. Rub marks to top edges. Both have scratches to the top. The one with the “stain” has a series of scratches and gouges on the front demi-lune. That one shows some old fill on the demi-lune edge.
