Pair of Silverplate and Crystal Trumpet Vases, 19th c., the trumpet vase with leaf form supports on a relief base with a stag figure, atop a lobed circular base with a rope twist border, H.- 15 1/4 in., Dia.- 7 1/2 in. (2 Pcs.)
Condition Report: There is 1/2 inch difference in height between the vases, as the smaller example (14 3/4 in.) has a near matching glass replacement that is slightly smaller in height, diameter and in thickness. The larger example has notable cracked repairs to the center of the glass with small losses along the repair. The stag mount is loose on one and the rockwork is loose on the other. Both examples exhibit polish accretions and scattered rubbing and losses to the plating, mostly to the bases and their edges.
