Pair of Vienna Style Porcelain Cabinet Vases

Pair of Vienna Style Porcelain Cabinet Vases. Tapering baluster form vessels over ankle, over circular bases, the turquoise blue bodies with Etruscan style handles molded with roulette wheels to upper sections. The center vase sections painted in polychrome enamels with Roman Gods and Goddesses with attributed, on patterned gilt grounds. Lower vase bodies with gilt foliate molding picked out in black enamel pen. The domed covers with pulled centers terminating in cruciform design, issuing gilt paneled knops. Blue overglaze beehive mark to interior foot of one. Circa 1900. {Approximate dimensions: 18" H. x 6" Diameter.}. Condition: Very attractive appearance. One handle to each vase, and lower bodies broken off and glued back on and professionally overpainted, and over gilt. Bolt on one vase loose. Very minor wear and scratching to surfaces.
