Pair of Yellow Ground Planters, Guangxu
A Chinese pair of yellow ground porcelain planters with trays dating from the Guangxu period. The bottom has a Yong Qing Chang Chun mark, and there is a Dai Ya Zhai mark on the side. The exteriors are glazed with a famille rose black bird among flowering branches.
Dimensions are: 6 inches tall X 9 1/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Both show minor age wear, especially to the glaze around the rims.
Provenance: From a Los Angeles collector who purchased the piece in the 1970s in Hong Kong.
