Pair of Yoruba Ibeji Figures, Nigeria, each standing on a small circular base with short thick legs and curved cutaway arms held to the thighs, beneath a forward projecting torso, beaded bands encircling the waist, an oval head with projecting mouth, wide, flat nose, and bulging pierced eyes and upswept coiffures, each with beaded strand encircling the neck, fine, aged medium brown patina, with areas of heavy encrustation between the arms, ht. 11 1/4 and 11 in.
