Pair of large antique firebucks - Brass - Circa 1900
Pair of very beautiful and also large antique brass andirons in the form of two griffins. These imposing magnificent sculptures date from around 1900 and come from France. Also includes the original connector on which the two images can be pushed, so that it is a beautiful whole but this is not in the picture. The condition of these hybrid mythical creatures from classical antiquity is good with some slight non-disturbing age signs and dents. Dimensions each 55 cm high x 27 cm wide x 15 cm deep and the connector is about 1 meter long.
