Pair of paste buckles, 1790s and a paste buckle, 1820s

Each rectangular buckle set with two rows of cushion-shaped paste, to a black velvet ribbon, the larger rectangular buckle set with cushion-shaped paste.

Condition Report:
Unsigned. Upon close inspection the paste in the smaller buckles shows abrasions, the paste in the larger buckle shows abrasions and chips. Some discoloration to the closed-back settings visible through the paste. Discoloration to the metal consistent with age. The small buckles measure approximately 38mm x 29mm, the velvet strap measures approximately 148mm and the large buckle measures approximately 61mm x 52mm. Overall in good condition. Total gross weight approximately 81g.
