Each detachable pendant set with an oval sapphire weighing 14.35 and 14.30 carats respectively, within a surround and to a surmount designed as tiered clusters set with brilliant-cut, pear- and marquise-shaped diamonds, accented by square diamonds, partially numbered, maker’s marks for Successeurs d’Ehret, French assay marks for gold.

Accompanied by SSEF reports no. 63452 and no. 663453, dated 22 May 2012, stating that the sapphires are of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating.

Accompanied by SSEF reports no. 63452 and no. 663453, dated 22 May 2012, stating that the oval sapphires weighing 14.35 and 14.30 carats, measuring 15.12 x 13.46 x 9.03mm and 13.82 x 12.70 x 9.83mm respectively, are of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating.

Partially numbered 1235 and 1 31 on the baskets of the sapphires. Maker’s marks for Successeurs d’Ehret, 49 rue Saint Roch, 75001 Paris. French assay marks and stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Sapphires violetish blue of strong saturation, slightly included, silk reflective under oblique light, iron oxide staining and fingerprint to one example, minor chips and nicks. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 20.00 - 25.00 carats, on average I-J colour, VS, some SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Minor scratches to the metal consistent with age. In good condition. Measuring approximately 65 x 30mm, surmounts measuring approximately 30 x 15mm. Total gross weight approximately 45 grams.
