Pair of silver-plated copper embossed and hand-chiseled palm goblets pendant - (2) - Louis XIV - Copper, Silver - Late 17th century

Beautiful and rare pair in pendant of hand-embossed and chiseled copper palm-holding vases with strong silver plating. Venetian manufacture by craftsman artist, unique production of rare workmanship with round base, with all-round Foliaceum decoration on the crowning of the same. To rise in the center, the handle has a cord that limits the piece into two distinct bodies. The most important central part is rounded with six volute and lily embossed decorations in the middle. A lozenge-shaped choke on the upper part that is completely embossed and faceted to form a fantastic crown around the shapes that gives it the final touch. In ancient times they were used almost exclusively on church altars during the Easter period. Now works of art for collectors and enthusiasts.
