Condition Report: On stable, cradled panel. Minor frame abrasion with a few small areas of associated loss. Yellowing to the varnish layer. Not examined out of frame.
Under UV: apparent strengthening applied to the silhouette of the figure in the doorway. Very finely applied dashes of retouching to the shadows and blades of grass underneath the reclining figure in the foreground.
