Palace Size Silver Bronze Figural Torchieres

DESCRIPTION: Pair of palace size silver bronze statue torcheres of a Greco-Roman man and woman. The man is seen holding a torch garnished with grape vines in his left hand and a horn in his right while crossing his legs. The nude woman is clutching her hair in her left hand and a torch on her right. The statues rest on bases adorned with fish and cherubs and both torches feature frosted glass lumieres.
