Pale White Jade 'Landscape Scene' Pebble Pendant, 15BX
This delicately relief carved jade pendant is sculpted from pale white jade, retaining its natural irregular pebble form with warm russet skin preserved along the outer perimeter, its front surface gently carved to depict a serene landscape scene featuring rolling hills, stylized trees and a traditional pavilion, paired with a strung necklace composed of small oval white beads interspersed with tiny dark spacer beads. The landscape motif traditionally symbolises peace, seclusion and harmony within the natural world. The jade displays a bright pale white core colour contrasted sharply by the rich russet brown mottled skin encircling the plaque edge. The shallow relief carving is softly rendered, and the pendant surface is smoothly polished to a gentle lustrous finish. Dimensions: 7 cm x 4.3 cm
