Palmer Chrisman (American, 1913-1984) Texas Wildflowers Oil on canvas 25 x 30 inches (63.5 x 76.2 cm) Signed lower left: Palmer Chrisman After serving in World War II, Palmer Chrisman settled in Texas as a Doctor where he met Porfirio Salinas. Salinas and Chrisman traded art lessons for medical services for several years. Chrisman became one of President Lyndon B. Johnson's favorite artists.
