A panel of four late Safavid or Zand cuerda seca tiles, probably Isfahan, late 17th or early 18th century.The set of tiles are matched to form a wonderful floral design in vibrant colors of yellow, turquoise, green, cobalt and rust.Minor chips to the edges , however there are no cracks or repairs.These tiles were purchased from a private collector who brought them to New York in 1960s. 15.5X15.5 inches.
