Panerai's fame began in the 1930s with their commission to manufacture watches for the Italian navy during World War II. The patented Luminor seal and crown protector further solidified their reputation for rugged, water resistant watches for professional use. Panerai watches developed almost a cult following in the 1990s and early 2000s and remain popular, fashionable, and practical timekeepers. This current timepiece has an impressive 8-day power reserve with date and AM/PM indication.

Condition: Dial and hands in excellent condition. Luminous material on dial and hands is intact and appears original to the watch. Case in excellent condition with only minor scratches on the rear bezel. Movement running at the time of cataloging. Overall in excellent condition.
