Extraordinary oil on panel by the Bergamo painter Paolo Punzo nicknamed "the painter of the mountain". (Bergamo, 1906 - 1979) . Size: 52x32. 5 cm. In excellent condition. Paolo Punzo frequented the mountains of Valtellina, starting to paint landscape views in Valfurva. He was the "painter of the mountain" par excellence, thanks also to his link with the Cai - the Italian Alpine Club. Punzo did not only paint high-altitude alpine landscapes, but also floral subjects and mountain urban environments.
