Large highly textured oil painting depicting a man in a tree surrounded by a flock of starlings. Intended as a satirical modern rendering of the character 'Papageno' from Mozart's 'Magic Flute'. Also intended as an oblique comment on the current environmental crisis - nature is fighting back and man is baffled and powerless. I am a painter, printmaker, and mosaic-maker based near Cambridge.
