Pappenheim-hilt rapier with a rare blade, Germany, 17th century. The straight steel blade is inlaid with copper and brass inserts. A swordsmith's mark at the base of the blade. Iron hilt with oval pommel. Wooden handle wrapped with silver wire. Part of the hilt with the protective plate is missing. Interesting collectible item. Length 118 cm.
