Early accounts of explorations in the Oregon Territory in the mid-1830's. Samuel Parker's primary purpose of this expedition, as stated in his preface, was "to become acquainted with the situation of the remote Indian tribes, and their disposition in regard to the geography of the country...". Condition Report: Some rubbing to cloth; top corner of front free endpaper lacking, foxing throughout, mostly to margins, toning to map; very good.
