A bronze buckle plate with sub-rectangular frame set with four cells to accept gemstones, openwork central figure of a horse(?) with ropework coiled harness and bridle, beaked stud; mounted on a custom-made stand. 125 grams total, 82mm including stand (3 1/4"). Property of a London collector; ex Eubanks Auctions, Surrey, UK; previously in an old English collection.
