Condition Report:
The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. All functions are working properly. All diamonds are nice and intact. The crystal with surface wear at 1 and 6 o'clock visible with the naked eye. The watch has been slightly polished in previous servicing. The case with minor surface wear towards the band at 9 o'clock. Otherwise the watch is in good overall condition with the case back retaining the service sticker. The bracelet is slightly stretched and with light surface wear.

Catalogue Note:
A few years after the launch of the first Nautilus reference 3700, Patek Philippe decided to upgrade the collection to reference 3800 with center seconds for better legibility. Produced between 1981 and 2006, the current example made in 1983 is one of the earlier watches to leave the Patek Philippe factory. Always known for the stainless steel examples, the full gold Nautilus variants have always been under the radar in terms of popularity but in fact, they are the true definition of a luxury sports watch. Furthermore, the indexes, bezel and center bracelet links are lavishly adorned with 474 8/8 diamonds weighing approximately 2.37 carats in total, elevating the beauty to another level.
