While it shares some features with the well-known Reference 570, Reference 530 stands out with two distinctive characteristics. Firstly, its concave bezel, a departure from the cylindrical design seen in Reference 570. Secondly, with a diameter of 36.5 mm, it surpasses its counterpart, emphasizing its grandeur within the revered Calatrava family. As a distinguished piece in Patek Philippe’s vintage collection, Reference 530 captures attention with its commanding size, measuring an impressive 36.5 mm. Introduced in 1937, the reference 530 remained available in catalogs for over a decade. Initially crafted in 18k yellow gold, Patek Philippe later produced few examples in stainless steel and rose gold, resulting in a total production of only 140 cases, primarily in yellow gold.
