Catalogue Note:
First launched in 1976 via the reference 3700, the Nautilus is one of Patek Philippe's most iconic and recognizable luxury sports watch made by the brand. The reference 3711 was launched in 2004 and was produced for only 3 years. It was quickly discontinued due to the introduction of the 5711 Nautilus.

Similar to the 3700, the present watch shares the same 42 mm case as the original Jumbo Nautilus, while housed with a ridged black dial, an addition of a seconds hand, and an upgraded caliber 315. It was offered only in a white gold case but with slightly thicker case construction to make room for a sapphire case back. It is estimated that only around 700 pieces of the reference 3711 were made during the three years of production, making it an exceptionally rare and highly collectible modern Patek.
