Case: The case is in excellent condition. Small handling ding at 3 o’clock bezel edge. The case back sticker is still intact.

Dial: The dial is in excellent condition. Lum plots still react to UV light.

Movement: The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.

Catalogue Note:
The Reference 5712 Nautilus was introduced in 2006 in commemoration of the sport watch's 30th anniversary. The classic sport design was updated with an attractive asymmetrical dial detailing a power reserve, a date, and a moon phases indication. The model stood as the most complicated Nautilus wristwatch until the 2018 launch of the Reference 5740, a perpetual calendar wristwatch with moon phases.

Offered in very good condition from the original owner, the present lot is dressed in the model's most demanded metal, stainless steel, and is complete with its full suite of accessories.
