One of Patek Philippe’s most unique and exclusive watches is the reference 5959, which has gained a reputation as the top most coveted and collectible watches in the world. First introduced in 2005, it is an incredibly complex and intricate watch that features not only the maison’s first in-house chronograph movement, the calibre CHR 27-525 PS is also the world’s thinnest split seconds chronograph, measuring at a record-breaking 5.25 mm.

The ever impressive split-seconds chronograph function allows the wearer to time two events simultaneously, with one hand measuring the elapsed time and the other hand measuring the split time. What also sets the Patek Philippe reference 5959 apart from other watches is its incredible design with an officer round case and a petite 33.5 mm diameter. The dial of the watch is also amazingly special, with a white lacquered finish and Breguet numerals.
