Catalogue Note:
Patek Philippe, in addition to producing some of the world's most complicated watches, has also made a commitment to preserving some of the world's most intricate art forms that would have otherwise disappeared. The present clock exemplifies this dedication, with its surface featuring cloisonné enamel panels. Enamelling is a complex and visually stunning artisanal technique that takes years of practice to master. The master enameller controls every aspect of the piece's production, from mixing the colours to their delicate application and precise firing. This desk clock showcases the artist's ability to create beautiful objects, with the enamel applied to the panels requiring delicate handling and immense technical skill.

The clock's enamel was created by Elisabeth Perusset Lagger, a master enameller who produced polychrome enamel masterpieces for Patek Philippe in the second half of the 20th century. It features a fervent battle with vibrant colours and is named "Une page d'Histoire". Powered by a solar panel on top of the dome, these clocks are very rare on the market.
