first quarter 20th century, the tree-trunk-form lamp with roots at the base, now mounted with an acrylic shade.

Provenance: Estate of Lin Emery, New Orleans, Louisiana.
Condition Report: The lampshade is a plastic replacement. Base in good condition with no dents, cracks or losses. Patinated surface in good condition. Cord and sockets are replacements. Old, possibly original fitting on bottom.
