Patinated Winged Michelangelo's David With Angel Wings Bronze Sculpture - 15" x 6" (12lbs)

A nude statue of David stands tall. His body is carefully crafted in a brown patina, exposing his muscular frame. His stomach is especially well-defined. His abdomen is cut and his hips curve outwards. His shoulders are broad and his long arms incredibly muscular. The cuts of every muscle in his body can be traced with the tip of a finger. He carries a strap on his strong shoulder and extends it downwards, diagonally across his back to the clutched palm in his other hand. The most stunning characteristic of this well-crafted angel is his wings. In a green patina, his extensive wings tuck behind him and reach down to his calves. The inside of his wings are well-detailed from the small feathers at the top of the arch to the longer feathers towards the bottom. 100% bronze and handmade, this sculpture was cast using the “Lost Wax Method” and is mounted on a black marble base. This sculpture is signed by the artist Michelangelo.
