He had a passion for sailing globally in his yacht, Scaramouche, and won the 1974 Newport to Bermuda Race. He also provided service to the U.S. Yacht Racing Union, the Ocean Racing Committee, the Admiral's Cup U.S. Team, and America's Cup campaigns._x000D_
