Formerly from the collection of Charles Edward Kirsch a graduate of Western Military Academy who served in the U.S. Navy. He had a passion for sailing globally in his yacht, Scaramouche, and won the 1974 Newport to Bermuda Race. He also provided service to the U.S. Yacht Racing Union, the Ocean Racing Committee, the Admiral's Cup U.S. Team, and America's Cup campaigns._x000D_
Provenance: Purchased from the artist in 1986 while featured in, "A New Romanticism: Sixteen Artists from Italy," at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington D.C.
