Especially designed by Paul Berthon for the set “Les Maitres de l’Affiche”.
“Les Maitres de l’Affiche” (The Masters of the Poster) was a prestigious publication series in Paris that spanned from 1895 to 1900. Celebrating the golden age of the illustrated poster, it highlighted the paramount works of nearly 100 celebrated artists of the era. Distributed as monthly subscriptions, this series showcased reduced-size lithographic reproductions of contemporary poster masterpieces. These pieces epitomized Belle Epoque design and remain sought-after collector’s items to this day.
