Paul Coker Jr. MAD #92 "The Sights and Sounds of the U.S.A.: Chicago" Complete 2-Page Story Original Art (EC, 1965). Chicago has plenty to say, and MAD has kindly supplied the incriminating dialogue! Larry Siegel and Frank Jacobs turn a typical neighborhood into a chorus of wisecracks in the fifth installment of "The Sights and Sounds of the U.S.A.," from the Talk of the Towns Dept. Paul Coker Jr. fills this complete two-page spread with local color and questionable commentary, all in the MAD Information Service’s tireless effort to leave Americans less informed about America! Ink and wash over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 25.25" x 13.5". Slight toning, stat text paste-ups, glue-residue staining, discolored production tape, smudging, soiling, whiteout touch-ups, a right-edge crease, and handling wear. One text paste-up containing the dialogue "Manager, there’re bullets coming through the bullet holes in my door!" is missing. Another, correctly positioned upside down for publication, has since been turned right side up. The artwork does not include the title, credits, or top-margin text seen in the published issue. In Very Good condition. HID09710052018 © 2026 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
