Paul Evans 1931-1987 "Patchwork" Coffee Table Base

Attributed to Paul Evans (American, 1931-1987), Brutalist coffee table base or occasional side table of cubic form, clad in patchwork copper and mixed-metal panels with hand-worked, etched, torched, and riveted surfaces. The open-center design incorporates a lower shelf and displays varied copper, bronze, and verdigris patination characteristic of mid-century modern sculptural metal furniture. No apparent maker marks.

Dimensions: 20 X 20 X 15 in.

Condition: Good overall condition with surface wear, scratches, oxidation, patina variation, and areas of discoloration consistent with age and use.
