Addendum to the catalogue entry: The woman sitting on the deck of the ferry is Agnes Vincent surrounded by her family. She was married to art publisher Alex Vincent (1861–1916), who in 1890 founded a publishing house, which became one of the largest in Denmark in the early 20th century. It was situated in Kronprinsessegade 10. Alex Vincent worked closely with Paul Fischer publishing Fischer's paintings as postcards.
