The work comprises numerous hand-cut aluminum butterflies, each with wire antennae and mounting pin, individually bagged and boxed at the time of cataloguing; the element count has not been verified against artist or consignor documentation. Elements are numbered in white for installation. Those examined are sound, with minor bending to some wing edges, antennae and mounting pins, and light surface scuffing.
