Frame diameter: 3 3/8 inches. In a gilt metal frame.
There is a signature along the right edge of the image. Having a vertical crack spanning the portrait. Small areas of loss to the paint near the bottom edge in the sitter's dress, where underlying ivory is exposed. These appear to be the only areas that glow under blacklight examination. A black spot on the sitter's chin and few other smaller spots in the image, possibly debris trapped between the image and glass. Not examined out of frame. With typical surface scratching and wear to the frame.
