Peacock Leaded Glass Lamp with Base

22 inches tall x 18 inches. A large Tiffany-style table lamp featuring a leaded glass shade and a coordinating illuminated leaded glass pedestal base. The shade is constructed with a complex peacock eye motif using slag glass in shades of iridescent pink, blue, pale green, and yellow. The design is accented throughout with numerous rounded glass cabochons in red and blue. The shade is finished with an irregular, flared rim and topped with a decorative pierced metal crown finial. The matching pedestal base is of hexagonal form with a flared foot, featuring green scale-patterned glass above a floral motif that mirrors the shade's colors and cabochon accents. The entire unit rests on four cast metal scrolled feet with a bronze-toned finish. The lamp is equipped with a two-socket light cluster featuring dual pull-chain switches and a modern brown plastic-coated electrical cord. The interior of the base also contains a light source, providing a secondary glow through the leaded glass pedestal.
