One graduated single strand pearl necklace 18.2" princess length, knotted with a tongue clasp & foldover safety containing 37 Tahitian pearls, 13.9mm to 10.1mm in size. The pearls are dark black in color, green overtone with a good luster, round to near round, and lightly blemished with excellent matching. The featured pearl necklace has a 14KT yellow gold oval floral motif clasp and 4 ruby set rondels. Graded on the strand.Tahitian cultured pearls form in the Pinctada Margaritifera oysters. This species is native to the central and South Pacific Ocean but is generally raised in lagoons by pearl farmers. Tahitian cultured pearls take between two to four years to form.
