Pedestal, Vase (2) - Napoleon III - Brass, Bronze - 19th century

Up for auction is this lot of 2 antique original French Napoleon III pedestals with vases. "Torchères". They also can be used as beautiful bronze pedestals. The vases can be removed. A shorter screw rod can be installed. They would be perfect for heavy statues as they are very stable with a respectable weight of 46 kg each ! Total weight 92 kg. 133 cm height, 48 diameter at the base, 31 cm diameter the top green marble plate and width with the handles 40 cm. In overall good antique condition. One vase need 3 welding points to one of the handles be fixed correctly (see last 2 pictures) & a good polish and they will be perfect. Age: estimated late 19th. Local pick-up in Geneva only. Very heavy 46 kg each.
