Through the pejorative use of color and the crudeness of some grays, I explore portraiture as a genre, starting from photography as a graphic record of initial information, to isolating in the image every nuance and value of its silhouette. The result of the process is the juxtaposition of several techniques combined with each other in order to obtain, without questioning the order, a subjective and spontaneous style of expression that differs from the conventional so well known in art. As a motif to recreate, I select faces of popular figures in our culture legitimized by culture, cinema or fashion as symbols of sensuality and character but who at the same time possess ambiguous traits of their being in their expression.
