Pendant - Nephrite jade - China - Late 20th century

White jade archaic pendant, top! – China - end of 20th Century This one comes from our own collection; offered with no reserve price! On offer is a superb thick and heavy white jade pendant with extremely fine carved details! This pendant is made of high quality pure and white nephrite jade; and is currently one of the most white jades we have! Appearance is very homogeneous white; there are no visible inclusions or impurities. The high quality of the stone itself is completely in line with the quality of the engravings, as one rarely encounters nowadays. It is entirely made in Archaic style accordance Chinese taste. The front side carvings includes a detailed mountain landscape. Next to the landscape carving a small scroll with “Ru Yi”; all you desire. Under the landscape carving a medallion with a mythical dragon with phoenix head. Next to the dragon a small circle with “Fu”; happiness. On top 2 stylized dragon with a small hole for the hanging cord. At the other side an idyllic waterscape with fisherman. Below a very detailed band with a medallion and a dragon. This pendant has been tested as jade by sharp knife and it is not possible to make any scratch. Also tested with UV-light; which proves a natural color. An excellent jade! Top piece! Condition: Very fine condition, no damage. Size: measures about 7,3cm total length, about 4,1cm wide, and about 1cm thick. Weight: about 79g or 395 Carat!
