Having a full curly maple stock with slight contouring, mounted with a shaped brass trigger guard and butt plate, supporting a 45-inch patinated cast-iron dual-sight applied tapered barrel, with the lock plate secured by two screw inset mounting plates. Loose connection with hammer of flintlock and frozen trigger mechanism to hammer; very light verdigris to trigger guard and oxidation throughout firing lock and barrel with a few instances of minor indentations; isolated abrasions with surface loss to edges of the stock with an instance of chipping near the muzzle; minor, aged chips and indentations to the stock near the flintlock; ramrod possibly of a later date.
