Penny (William). Instructions Designed for the use of Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers and Privates of the Woodley and other Volunteer Cavalry. Dedicated by Permission to the Right Hon. Henry Addington, Commanding the Woodley Corps, Reading: printed for the author by Smart and Cowslade, circa 1804, 2 folding engraved plates with outline colour, contemporary half calf, spine faded, 12mo, together with Standing Regulations of the Light-Horse Volunteers of London and Westminster. Carefully extracted from the minutes of the general meetings, and resolution of the Committee, since the revival of the corps in 1794, and up to the 1st January 1801, London: Bunnery and Gold, 1801, 36 pp., all edges gilt, contemporary red straight-grained, two tiny wormtracks to upper cover, 12mo, plus A Course of Drill and Instruction in the Movements and Duties of Light Infantry: Performed upon the regulations for the exercise of infantry in close order. And the regulations for the exercise of riflemen and light infantry, by a Field Officer, 2 parts in one, London: printed for T.
